Blu-U Therapy
This very special blue light can kill bacteria in your skin associated with acne. Treatments are simple – you simple sit with your face close to the light for a short time at a schedule set up by your skin care specialist.
Levulan Photodynamic Therapy
Using the Levulan Kerastick along with the special blue light is an advanced way of dealing with more moderate and severe acne. While originally developed for actinic keratosis (rough, scaly patches on the skin, caused by excessive exposure to the sun, that can sometimes progress into dangerous skin cancers), its penetration into the cells has been found to aid in exfoliation, reduce oil production and kill the bacteria found in moderate and severe acne. A series of treatments is recommended.
